Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who courageously stepped forward when our nation asked for their service. In return, many of our loved ones — our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and dear friends — made the ultimate sacrifice. They gave their lives to protect our freedoms. Their devotion to duty, their commitment to country and their triumphs have since been forgotten by too many of us.
This Memorial Day, please remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives . . . and those who are courageously serving our country today, so that we can all have the opportunity to LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM!
Memorial Day Weekend is also a time when families get together to kick off warmer weather and have a barbecue or go to local parades. Do you barbecue for Memorial day? Do you use gas or charcoal? We have an oil drum pit and use charcoal but we have a gas grill but haven't used it in years ... nothing beats the taste of things cooked with charcoal!
Do you already have your menue planned? I'm still working on mine but I know there will be a seedless watermelon and corn on the cob
Have a Safe & Fun weekend but don't forget to remember our men & woman who have served our Country past & present
